Arbor Day Celebration

Village President, Sterling Burke, proclaimed April 27th, 2018 as Arbor Day and that the Village of Olympia Fields will be planting a tree in recognition of this day.  Arbor Day promotes the awareness, understanding and value of trees by highlighting the environmental benefits of trees.  A proclamation will be made at the ceremony.  All residents are welcome to attend.

This annual event marks the 11th year that the Village has planted trees in honor of Arbor Day.  The Village will be honoring that day by planting a flowering Pagoda Dogwood at the cul-de-sac adjacent to homes on 52,53 & 54 Graymoor at a 10:00 a.m. ceremony.  Village staff, the Beautification Committee and residents are invited to participate in this event.
