The District's
mission is to provide quality, safe and accessible recreational programs,
facilities and parks that meet the leisure service needs and improve the quality
of life for residents of the community of Olympia Fields.
The Olympia
Fields Park District is dedicated to providing quality leisure facilities and
recreation/education for children, teenagers, adults, seniors and persons of all
ages with disabilities. It is also the Park District's goal to preserve open
space within the community to assure a high quality environment now and in the
future for all Olympia Fields' residents. The Park District own and maintains
117 acres of parks and open space, encompasses 11 park sites, and with baseball
fields, soccer fields, playgrounds, tennis courts, trails, sledding hills, Disc
Golf, and adventure center facilities located in the various park sites. The
Olympia Fields Park District is one of the only 28 out of over 350 park
districts throughout the state of Illinois to earn the IPRA/IAPD distinguished
Agency Award.
